State record-holder for passing yards in a game should be back in three months to play hockey.

Skyline (Ann Arbor, Mich.) standout senior quarterback Andrew Copp sustained a broken right collarbone during a 23-20 football loss to Bedford (Temperance, Mich.) on Thursday and will miss the remainder of the season.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Copp passed for a state-record 557 yards on Sept. 23 and was just starting to see college football as a possibility in his future.

Copp already had his future mapped out in professional hockey because he is a center for the USA National team.
He told MaxPreps, "I'll come back in three months and play for either the 17 or 18-under team."
Andrew Copp is likely out for the football season with a broken right collarbone.
