Basketball Game Preview: Opp Bobcats vs. New Brockton Gamecocks

The Opp Bobcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the New Brockton Gamecocks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Opp is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Opp was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-41 to Bullock County.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Chloe Bentley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Those ten points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Adams, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, New Brockton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 48-35 to Straughn.

New Brockton's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-12. As for Opp, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Opp came up short against New Brockton in their previous meeting on January 13th, falling 54-45. Can Opp avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
