After losing to Stewart County the last time they met, Rossview decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 4-1 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Rossview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Waller, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Rossview pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Stewart County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rossview will welcome Dickson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
