Volleyball Recap: Jemez Valley Falls to Alamo Navajo in First Game of Season

Jemez Valley had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Alamo Navajo Cougars on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Warrior in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

While Jemez Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Alamo Navajo's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-19.

Coming up, Jemez Valley will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Pine Hill at 11:35 a.m. on September 5. As for Alamo Navajo, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Tse' Yi' Gai at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
