Baseball Recap: Texas Wind Takes a Loss

Texas Wind and Valor South Austin squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Texas Wind had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Falcons.

Texas Wind saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brazos Kunkel, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Texas Wind dropped their record down to 8-16-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Valor South Austin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5-1.

Texas Wind does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valor South Austin, they will challenge Austin Crusaders HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
