Volleyball Recap: Colonel Crawford Starts Season with Win at Home

Colonel Crawford took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lucas Cubs. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Cubs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

Colonel Crawford never let Lucas on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-20.

Reese Redman paced Colonel Crawford's offense, picking up 11 kills. Redman got some help from Ella Agee and her 12 assists. Redman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Colonel Crawford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Vanlue on the 18th. As for Lucas, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Clear Fork on the 16th.
