Softball Recap: St. Hubert Catholic for Girls Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

St. Hubert Catholic for Girls extended their winning streak to four on Sunday, bumping their season record up to 5-7 in the process. They never let Nazareth Academy get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. This was a revenge game for St. Hubert Catholic for Girls: when they faced off against Nazareth Academy back in April, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

As for Nazareth Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. The shutout was out of character for they seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

For Nazareth Academy's part, Jill DiMario spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks. DiMario has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

As of now, neither St. Hubert Catholic for Girls nor Nazareth Academy have any future games scheduled.
