Softball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta fell victim to New Palestine and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for New Palestine, their record is now 21-4.

When Delta and New Palestine next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Eagles will try to stop Jay County's seven-game winning streak when they meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Palestine will take on Connersville and their four-game winning streak at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
