American Falls took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Marsh Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Beavers skirted past the Eagles 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Beavers have posted since April 7th.

McKenzie Mendez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Hailey Kress was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Averee Nelson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
