Basketball Recap: DeKalb Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the DeKalb Barons were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 40-36 to the West Noble Chargers. The Barons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for West Noble, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb will challenge Huntington North at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Noble, they will face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
