Soccer Recap: Franklin Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Franklin strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Beech Buccaneers as they made off with a 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Franklin, who have now won 13 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Beech with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Theo Simpson (2), Chase Brakman, Logan Macy, and Tristiano Alfano.

Franklin pushed their record up to 16-0-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those nine matches. As for Beech, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6-2.

Coming up, Franklin will face off against Hendersonville on Tuesday. Beech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
