Kyler Krull leads Whitko to victory over Prairie Heights

The Whitko Wildcats entered their tilt with the Prairie Heights Panthers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Whitko managed a 12-8 win over Prairie Heights on Saturday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Whitko has scored all year.

It was another big night for Kyler Krull, who scored 27 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Essegian, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and two steals.

Whitko has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Prairie Heights, they bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Whitko will square off against Southwood at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Southwood is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Prairie Heights, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against DeKalb at 7:30 p.m.
