Volleyball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Wins Going Away Against Cuyahoga Falls

Stow-Munroe Falls not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 5th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Black Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Stow-Munroe Falls won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Alex Kuhlke paced Stow-Munroe Falls' offense, picking up ten kills. Kuhlke got some help from Carson Wilhoit and his 33 assists. Kuhlke also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Campbell Tawney, racking up three apiece.

Stow-Munroe Falls' win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
