Volleyball Recap: Dartmouth Falls Despite Big Games from Chloe Mckinnon and Sophia Rutkowski

Dartmouth came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Westborough Rangers, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Dartmouth's loss came despite strong showings from Sophia Rutkowski and Chloe McKinnon. Rutkowski had seven digs and one assist, while McKinnon had seven digs and six kills. McKinnon has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 18 times she's played.

Dartmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Westborough, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Dartmouth nor Westborough have any future games scheduled.
