Bowie has gone 8-2 against San Marcos recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bowie Bulldogs are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the San Marcos Rattlers at 7:00 p.m.

Bowie lost 12-3 to Leander on Friday.

Josie Busceme and Cadie Hays did some serious damage despite the final result: Busceme scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Hays went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Busceme has posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, San Marcos posted their biggest victory since February 15, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Bastrop 9-1. The win continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got San Marcos back to even at 1-1. As for Bowie, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Bowie was able to grind out a solid win over San Marcos when the teams last played back in March of 2023, winning 6-2. Will Bowie repeat their success, or does San Marcos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
