Dayton had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves with a sharp  23-14 win on Monday. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matches by more than eight  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
Dayton let  Alexa Jones and  Lila Hutchens run wild. Jones  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI, while  Hutchens  went 4-for-6 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Those  four  hits gave  Hutchens a new career-high.  Brooklyn Laughery also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
 Dayton  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Tekoa-Rosalia,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Coming up, Dayton will face off against Columbia at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Tekoa-Rosalia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
