Heritage Christian waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Shawnee Mission Christian Mustangs 47-32. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 54-28 victory back in January.

Shawnee Mission Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Isabella Anderson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards. She has become a key player for Shawnee Mission Christian: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 4-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Walker, who posted ten points along with six boards and four steals.

Heritage Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Shawnee Mission Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Coming up, Heritage Christian will take on Cornerstone Family at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Heritage Christian's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Cornerstone Family has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. Shawnee Mission Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
