Volleyball Recap: Mara Gonzalez and Macey Ascherman Secure Win for CORE Butte + How To Watch

CORE Butte entered their tilt with Los Molinos on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Lynx have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 20-25, 25-23.

CORE Butte was led to victory by Macey Ascherman and Mara Gonzalez. Ascherman had nine digs, four aces, and two blocks, while Gonzalez had 11 digs and five aces. That's the most blocks Ascherman has posted over her last four matchups.

They weren't the only good server: CORE Butte was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

CORE Butte's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Los Molinos, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
