Softball Game Preview: Taylor Titans vs. Delphi Community Oracles

Taylor is 0-7 against Delphi Community since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Titans will square off against the Oracles at 5:30 p.m. Taylor has given up an average of 16.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Taylor is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 19th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 24-1 to North Miami.

West Lafayette hit Delphi Community with a five-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Oracles fell 14-9 to the Red Devils. The Oracles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Delphi Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Taylor couldn't quite get it done against Delphi Community when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
