Basketball Game Preview: South Atlanta Hornets vs. Salem Seminoles

The South Atlanta Hornets will head out on the road to square off against the Salem Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, South Atlanta really took it to Redan for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-39 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Salem came into Friday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 59-47 win over Miller Grove on Friday.

Salem's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15. As for South Atlanta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

South Atlanta beat Salem 66-53 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Atlanta since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
