Indianapolis Shortridge gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They strolled past Purdue Poly Englewood with points to spare, taking the game 26-8. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Leading Indianapolis Shortridge to victory were Thomas Campbell and James Edmondson. Campbell rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, while Edmondson rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
