Recap: Centennial Stars vs. East Tigers
The Centennial Stars's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They snuck past East with a 50-44 victory. This was payback for Centennial, who suffered a 58-48 loss the last time these two teams met.
Centennial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristian Moore, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Thomas, who scored 12 points.
Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for East, they bumped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Independence is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for East, they will head out on the road to take on Whetstone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whetstone is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
