Softball Game Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. Danville Blue Devils

The Sheridan Generals will head out on the road to square off against the Danville Blue Devils at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sheridan came out on top against West Muskingum on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Generals put the hurt on the Tornadoes with a sharp 14-5 victory. Considering the Generals have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Danville entered their tilt with Loudonville on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Redbirds.

Danville's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Sheridan, their win bumped their record up to an identical 13-4.
