Soccer Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss

South Lenoir fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Southwest Onslow on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 4-3. South Lenoir's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Daniel Salinas and Emilio Flores Salinas scored all three of South Lenoir's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Southwest Onslow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.
