Mercy is 8-2 against Roncalli Catholic since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Monarchs will square off against the Crimson Pride at 2:00 p.m. Mercy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If Roncalli Catholic heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Mercy took over last week. The Monarchs put the hurt on Concordia with a sharp 5-0 victory on Thursday. Fans of Mercy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

They hit Concordia with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Melina Nelson (2), Olivia Ohlman, Lizzie Barta, and Olivia Gallagher.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Roncalli Catholic was not quite Duchesne's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Mercy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three games. As for Roncalli Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Mercy skirted past Roncalli Catholic 1-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Crimson Pride have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
