They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 9-0 walloping at the hands of Dawson County on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Gordon Central of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Gordon Central's season is starting to look like last year's as the team currently sits at an 0-5 record this season. As for Dawson County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gordon Central will take on Model at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dawson County, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Gilmer at 5:30 p.m. on February 29th.
