Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain View Bruins vs. Lone Peak Knights

The Mountain View Bruins will take on the Lone Peak Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Mountain View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Herriman, who was ranked third at the time (Mountain View was ranked 25th). Mountain View took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Herriman on Thursday. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Lone Peak made easy work of Syracuse on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Lone Peak never let Syracuse on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 28-26.

Mountain View now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lone Peak, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
