Soccer Game Preview: St. Patrick-St. Vincent vs. Kennedy

St. Patrick-St. Vincent hasn't had much luck against Kennedy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins will head out on the road to face off against the Kennedy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will be strutting in after a victory while Kennedy will be coming in after a loss.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They skirted past Hercules 1-0. The Bruins wouldn't have won without Aidan Walsh, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Kennedy was not quite De Anza's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Dons by a score of 2-1.

Kennedy has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-3 record this season. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Kennedy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can St. Patrick-St. Vincent avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
