Pleasant Valley waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Section Lions 45-7. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
It was another big night for Braxton Salster, who rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 134 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two). Cooper Dougal was another key player, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.
Pleasant Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dougal and Jaden Sparks. Dougal also hauled in a receiving touchdown, marking his first of the season.
Pleasant Valley's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Section, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
