Flathead is 8-2 against Butte since November of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Flathead came up short against Glacier and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 13-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Butte came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Big Sky on Tuesday.

Butte had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-18.

Butte's win bumped their record up to 3-18. As for Flathead, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Flathead's way against Butte when the teams last played back in September, as Flathead made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves/Bravettes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
