Basketball Recap: Spartanburg Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Spartanburg Christian Academy lost against Southside Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southside Christian Sabres.

Southside Christian had a senior duo take command as Zane Hagy posted ten points and Ned Murphy had eight points. Another player making a difference was Ayden Divert, who put up five points.

Spartanburg Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Southside Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Spartanburg Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-33 loss against Chesnee on the 3rd. Southside Christian has also already played their next game, a 39-34 victory against Greenville Tech Charter on the 3rd.
