Little Rock Southwest is 0-10 against Conway since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Gryphons will head out to challenge the Wampus Cats at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Little Rock Southwest will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Hot Springs, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Gryphons put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 12-3 win on Monday.

Donta King made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Aj Vernon and Adrian Martin did most of the damage at the plate: Vernon got on base in three of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs, while Martin went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. Vernon has become a key player for Little Rock Southwest: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Davion King, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Little Rock Southwest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Conway strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They had just enough and edged out Bentonville 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wampus Cats have posted against the Tigers since May 13, 2016.
Conway pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.1 runs over those games. As for Little Rock Southwest, their win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-17.
Little Rock Southwest might still be hurting after the 21-0 defeat they got from Conway in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Gryphons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
