Mission Heights Prep proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 24) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Imagine Prep Storm 8-6. The Phantoms have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.

Mission Heights Prep let Daniel Vargas and Jacob Kemp run wild. Vargas scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Kemp scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Kemp also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Jordan Sparks was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Mission Heights Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive matchups.
