2A Olympic Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Jack Grant's Big Game Leads Bainbridge over North Mason

Starting off the list is Bainbridge's Jack Grant, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Grant threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

North Mason's probably not too fond of Grant given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Grant saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Isaiah Beyer Leads Bainbridge over North Mason

On Friday, Bainbridge got the W thanks in part to Isaiah Beyer playing the best football he has all season. Beyer picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

This season, Beyer has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 80 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 38.6 receiving yards per game.

While Bremerton might've come up empty on Friday, Dillon Mckay wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Mckay was still balling out as he rushed for ten yards.

Bremerton is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. They and Olympic are set to duel on Friday.
