Volleyball Recap: Redington Takes a Loss

Redington came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Houston Hawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on September 5th.

Redington took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.

Redington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Houston, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Redington is set to square off against their familiar foe Kenai Central at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Houston will face off against rival Seward at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
