Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Abington Heights' Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Abington Heights won the last time they faced North Pocono and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Abington Heights Comets walked away with a 73-61 victory over the North Pocono Trojans. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Trojans are ranked 342nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Abington Heights is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for North Pocono, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Abington Heights will host Scranton Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Pocono has already played their next matchup (against West Scranton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
