Football Game Preview: Isle of Wight Academy Chargers vs. Hargrave Military Academy Tigers

The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers are taking a road trip to challenge the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Isle of Wight Academy is looking for their season's first victory.

On Thursday, Isle of Wight Academy ended up a good deal behind Norfolk Christian and lost 26-10.

The losing side was boosted by Ian Upton, who rushed for 59 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Hargrave Military Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Roanoke Catholic on Friday and fell 22-19.

Hargrave Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Isle of Wight Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Isle of Wight Academy couldn't quite finish off Hargrave Military Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024 and fell 24-21. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
