While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 848th in Ohio, while the Wildcat are ranked 109th in West Virginia).

Conotton Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Beallsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything came up roses for Conotton Valley against Beallsville in their previous matchup on January 4th, as the squad secured a 51-19 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Conotton Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
