Volleyball Recap: Westridge's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Westridge entered their tilt with Perris on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers.

Leading Westridge to victory were Jasmine Lee and Lucia Flores-Rojas. Lee had six digs and three aces, while Flores-Rojas had seven digs and two aces. Flores-Rojas has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Westridge was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Westridge's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Perris, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Westridge has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against The Webb Schools on the 20th. As for Perris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Calvary Baptist on the 20th.
