Sierra Canyon had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Scripps Ranch Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Hanna McGinest paced Sierra Canyon's offense, picking up 11 kills. McGinest got some help from Lucky Fasavalu and her 14 assists. Fasavalu was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sierra Canyon's win bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Scripps Ranch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-9 record this season.

Sierra Canyon has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Thousand Oaks on the 4th. As for Scripps Ranch, they will challenge Cathedral Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
