Basketball Recap: Hinton Find Success

Hinton's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They secured a 50-45 W over the Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-47 on January 7th.

Hinton has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Fort Cobb-Broxton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Hinton has already played their next game (against Hammon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Cobb-Broxton will face off against Canute at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canute will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Fort Cobb-Broxton surely won't give up without a fight.
