Talawanda got themselves on the board against Eaton on Saturday, but Eaton never followed suit. They won by a run and slipped past the Eagles 1-0. The win continues a trend for the Brave in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Kylie Cobb, who gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Eaton off the board. Cobb has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Talawanda's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Frieden, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Talawanda's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Eaton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Talawanda by a score of 8-4 later that day.
