Basketball Game Preview: Keystone Panthers vs. Karns City Gremlins

Keystone is 2-8 against Karns City since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Keystone Panthers will host the Karns City Gremlins at 7:30 p.m. Keystone knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Karns City likes a good challenge.

Keystone will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 26) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against DuBois Central Catholic, sneaking past 56-54.

Meanwhile, Karns City had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 47-31 to Clarion Area.

Keystone's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Karns City, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-1.
