Recap: Renaissance Academy Knights vs. Church Farm Griffens
If the Renaissance Academy Knights were feeling good off their 76-54 takedown of the Alliance Christian Gryphons last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Renaissance Academy was beaten by Church Farm 54-19 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Renaissance Academy has scored all season.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Nico Villa,
Ed Breazeale IV, and
Taijae Byrd-Breazeale posted two points each.
Renaissance Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Church Farm, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Renaissance Academy and Delaware County Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Delaware County Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. As for Church Farm, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Morrisville at 7:00 p.m.
