Basketball Game Preview: Cordova Wolves vs. Collierville Dragons

The Cordova Wolves and the Collierville Dragons will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cordova will be strutting in after a win while Collierville will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cordova beat Kirby 65-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Collierville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-48 to Marion. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 115th in Tennessee, while the Patriots are ranked 33rd in Arkansas).

Cordova now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Collierville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.

Everything went Cordova's way against Collierville in their previous matchup back in February, as Cordova made off with a 79-59 victory. Does Cordova have another victory up their sleeve, or will Collierville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
