Adding to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week, Chestnut Ridge beat Allegany 14-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Lions.
St. Joseph's Catholic Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Allegheny-Clarion Valley. Phillip Fenstermacker threw for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
St. Joseph's Catholic Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Fenstermacker has thrown for 813 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Mike Jabco has 28 catches for 439 yards.
Chestnut Ridge made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,912 from 7,429. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 14-10 victory over the Campers last week.
