Softball Recap: Laurel Spartans vs. Freedom Area Bulldogs
On Monday, while Laurel put up plenty of runs, the same can't be said for Freedom Area. The Laurel Spartans put the hurt on the Freedom Area Bulldogs with a sharp 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Laurel.
Laurel's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Freedom Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Laurel will head out on the road to face off against Neshannock at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freedom Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
