If Greenwich Country Day wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kingswood Oxford, they should've done a better job of containing Justin Morle. The Wyverns strolled past the Tigers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 31-12 thanks in part to Morle, who rushed for 159 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Dj Biggins was another key player, picking up 90 receiving yards and one score. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Kingswood Oxford's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Nicklas Chomko was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.

Kingswood Oxford has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24 points this season. As for Greenwich Country Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Kingswood Oxford and Greenwich Country Day should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings. The Wyverns will square off against Middlesex at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (56 vs. 223). Meanwhile, Greenwich Country Day (ranked 55th) will meet Austin Prep (ranked 245th) at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
