Football Recap: Windsor Academy Falls Short of Brentwood in the Playoffs

Windsor Academy and Brentwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Windsor Academy had to settle for second. They took a blow against the War Eagles, falling 49-21. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Heath Woodard threw for 114 yards and one touchdown. Nick Visage was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Blayne Bennett rushed for 48 yards and a pair of TDs.

Windsor Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Brentwood, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Windsor Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brentwood, they will take on Briarwood Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
