Arbor View is 8-2 against Foothill since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Aggies will look to defend their home court against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m.

Arbor View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Palo Verde, who was ranked third at the time (Arbor View was ranked fifth). The Aggies fell 3-1 to the Panthers on Tuesday.

While Arbor View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Foothill made easy work of Silverado on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Skyhawks: they've now won five in a row.

Foothill never let Silverado on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-17.

Arbor View better focus on containing Evan Anderson and Jayden Ellizar-Keiki as the pair were huge in Foothill's win. Anderson had 12 digs, while Ellizar-Keiki had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Ellizar-Keiki has posted over his last four matches.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 20-13. As for Arbor View, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-16.

Arbor View was able to grind out a solid win over Foothill in their previous matchup on April 5th, winning 2-0. Will the Aggies repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
